Student Success Series
Learning how to utilize university resources and resolve problems is the key to having a successful first year at Kent State University. The Student Success Series promotes this success by offering workshops on the common concerns and questions first-year students have during their first year.
Common Reading Program
The Common Reading Program is a students' first opportunity to connect with their peers and faculty, staff, administrators, and community members in an academic environment. Learn what the Common Reading Program involves and about the 2014 Common Reading Book and assignment.

Early Alert System
The Early Alert System is used by university faculty and staff to get in contact with students who show patterns and signs of struggling academically and provide proactive assistance to help them stay on the path to academic success.
Save My Semester
To provide assistance to any student who does not meet his or her academic goals at midterm time, Student Success Programs offers "Save my Semester" workshops. The workshop will focus on helping students to set goals, develop an action plan and provide tips on improving academic skills.
Recalculating Your Route
To provide assistance to any student who is on Academic Probation, Student Success Programs offers "Recalculating Your Route" workshops. These workshops will focus on what it means to be on academic probation, goal setting and identification of academic success resources.
