Staff ONLY

The Early Alert system is designed for instructors to be able to reach out to students enrolled in their courses who are experiencing difficulties.  However, we know other staff on campus have significant interactions with students and are also able to identify those who are struggling.  This system allows those individuals a way to share the information with the Student Success Programs staff so that additional interventions can be provided.

If you have a student who could benefit from additional support, please complete the following referral. This mechanism is for non-teaching STAFF members ONLY. Instructors, should continue to use the Early Alert referral system in FlashLine.

Upon receiving the information, Student Success Programs, along with our campus partners, will make contact with the student in 1-3 business days.  If this is an urgent issue, please contact earlyalert@kent.edu.  Thank you for your commitment to assisting students in their success.
