Programs

The King Kennedy Community Center offers a variety of activities, experiences and programs, including:

• Jake's Kids Summer Program
  Arts and crafts, sports, play activities, guest speakers, and field trips are coordinated for children over the summer
• After-School Tutoring
  Students from Kent State University tutor K-12 children on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Friday Night Game Nights
  Game nights are held for boys every other Friday night with the opposite Friday for girls’ activities
• For Seniors
  Nutrition programs and daily lunches are available to senior citizens
• Field Trips
  Trips are organized to such places as Severance Hall, Porthouse Theatre and Kent State sporting events
• Computer Classes
  Volunteers lead basic computer skills lessons on Microsoft Word, email, and internet security information
