Energy Conservation Projects
Kent State University has taken an aggressive approach to its energy conservation program. The comprehensive methodology demonstrates Kent State's stewardship of public funding, responsible cost containment for its students, and environmental impact reduction. Development of a comprehensive, Renewable Energy Master Plan is underway to responsibly and efficiently apply appropriate renewable energy methods throughout Kent State University's eight campuses. Renewable energy deployment is the next logical step to this plan. Curricular components are also being developed.
If the Office of the University Architect is searching for energy conservation service providers to assist with a new project, the RFP is posted on the Request for Proposals
