Kent State University’s 18th Aviation Heritage Fair will take place Saturday, Sept. 13, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Kent State University Airport, located at 4020 Kent Road in Stow, Ohio. The fair, a celebration of aviation education past, present and future, is presented by Kent State’s Aeronautics Program.

The first public meeting for the Kent State University Airport Master Plan has been scheduled for Monday, March 4. In this meeting, the public will be introduced to the project and learn why university leaders are reassessing recommendations from the 2006 plan and taking a fresh look at the airport’s assets and needs.
Public meetings soon to be organized
A steering team for the Kent State University Airport has begun planning the development of a new master plan. The public may help determine the future of the airport by participating in a series of public information meetings in early 2013.
