Students need a 2.0 GPA overall and a 2.25 GPA in the major to graduate.
Students should take their math as soon as possible. It is a prerequisite for the physics courses, and the physics courses are prerequisites for the upper-division courses in the aeronautics core.
Students taking ASTU courses (Air Force ROTC Aerospace Studies) can use the following substitutions:
- ASTU 10101, 10102, 20101, 20102 to count as lower division TECH electives
- ASTU 30101, 30102, 40101, 40102 to count as upper division TECH electives
- ASTU 30102 to count as COMM 15000 (Theory and Practice of Oral Discourse)
None of the above substitutions are processed automatically. Please see the section on Exceptions to Policies and Rules to process the substitutions.
Please see the section on diversity requirement. The writing-intensive requirement is built into the curriculum.
