College of Technology - Graduate Program

Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

Students who did not earn a composite undergraduate grade point average (gpa) of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale must take the general test of the GRE to be considered for admission into the Master of Technology program.  The general test includes the following sections:  Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical.  It is expected that qualified applicants will score at or above the 50th percentile in all three areas.

Information regarding the GRE, including cost, location of test centers, scheduling to take the exam, test preparation, etc. are available at www.gre.org.  Since the results of this test will be weighed along with undergraduate academic achievement, it is strongly suggested that applicants prepare for this exam.  Sample exam questions are available on the GRE web site and most bookstores have GRE study guides and sample exam questions available.
