TKS is a full day program orientation for transfer students with freshman status at the time of admission. Check-in starts at 8:00am and the program concludes around 5:00pm. Students will be introduced to campus resources, meet with an academic advisor to build their spring schedule, and get their Flashcard (KSU ID). Students will have an opportunity to attend two interactive workshops of their choice. There is even a session specifically for guests. At TKS, students will meet other transfer students and engage in some fun activities to assist you in learning your way around campus.

Although not required, students can bring up to two guests. It is important for you to begin building rapport with your academic advisor so we ask that guests do not attend your advising session. If you have any other questions, E-mail Student Success Programs at transfer@kent.edu or call 330 672-2014.
