- Visit www.kent.edu/gps and get program Roadmaps for KSU majors, minors and certificates.
- Be sure to submit official test scores or transcripts if you will be receiving AP, CLEP, CBE or Military credit. Information can be found in the FAQ’s.
- Be sure to submit all official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions to the Admissions Office at the campus to which you are applying. See below for campus contact information.

Once You Have Been Admitted to Kent State:
- Be sure to set up your Flashline account at http://flashline.kent.edu. Call 330 672-HELP for assistance. When the Transfer Center has completed your evaluation, you will receive an email in your kent.edu mailbox.
- Regularly review your Next Steps Checklist in the New@KSU tab within your Flashline account. This checklist contains very important information, such as important deadlines, fee payments, key links and reminders.
- Submit any outstanding final transcripts to the campus at which you have been admitted (use contact and address information shown above).
- Once your evaluation is completed, make an academic advising appointment in your college office at www.kent.edu/academics/resources/Advising.cfm. Be sure to bring your GPS audit and Roadmap,and write down any questions you want to be sure to discuss.
- If your evaluation indicates that you have 30 hours or less transfer credit, you will be required to attend the Transfer Kent State Orientation, Advising and Registration program. Required attendees will receive an invitation and can also review additional information/register for the program on the Next Steps Checklist in Flashline. - After you have received your transfer credit evaluation and/or you have met with an academic advisor, register for classes via http://flashline.kent.edu.
