Kent State University at Trumbull Celebrates Police Academy Summer Graduates

On Friday, July 8, 93 cadets graduate from Kent State University at Trumbull’s Police Academy. 

More than 450 individuals are attending the ceremony, including graduates, friends and family, and Kent State University at Trumbull staff.

The event is not open to the public. However, media representatives are encouraged to attend and should contact Bill Burgess, marketing coordinator at 330-675-7627 or wjburges@kent.edu to make arrangements.

James Ciotti, Special Agent in Charge - Northern District of Ohio, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, will be the guest speaker.  Academy Commanders representing various areas of law enforcement will be present. These include Sergeant William McGee (Solon PD), Sergeant Wayne Parker (Kent State PD), Captain Perry Tabak (Cuyahoga Falls PD), Sgt. Robert Altier, Ret’d Hubbard PD, and Chief Jeff Film (Stow PD).
