Registration for Summer 2015 begins Feb. 23

It may be cold and snowy outside, but believe it or not, summer is right around the corner. You know what that means, right? Flip flops, warm, sandy beaches … and class! Wait, what?

That's right, registration for Summer 2015 begins on Monday, Feb. 23.

Unlike Fall and Spring, there is no registration entry schedule, with registration opening to all students, regardless of class standing, Monday, Feb. 23. Students may search the schedule of available classes through FlashLine, or by visiting the online viewable schedule.

But before you do that, don't forget to schedule a visit with your academic advisor. Students can sign up for a designated appointment time, or take advantage of a variety of walk-in hours.

If you plan to use financial aid in the summer, you will need to complete three steps to get the summer aid process started:

  1. Complete a 2015-2016 FAFSA and send your information to Kent State University (003064)
  2. Register for Summer 2015 classes.  Remember that if you want/need to use student loans, you must register for at least six credit hours during the Summer semesters!
  3. Complete a 2015 Summer Aid Request Form

Still have questions? Call 330-675-8860, or visit the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Services.
