SEARCH KENT STATE
Kent State Trumbull offers scholarships to new freshman, transfers and currently enrolled students. The scholarships are funded by generous gifts and donations from campus friends, businesses, foundations, faculty/staff and the local community.
Scholarships are awarded based on merit, program of study, county of residence, financial need and other criteria. A committee of staff and faculty selects deserving recipients in May. Scholarships are awarded for Fall and Spring semesters only. The scholarships are not renewable (unless specified) but students may reapply each year. Scholarships are awarded to students on a part time or full time basis, depending on the number of hours a student is enrolled per semester at Kent State Trumbull.
General Scholarship Criteria
Amount: $4,000 per year Requirement: 3.8 cumulative high school GPA Automatically awarded upon admission to graduating high school seniors who are admitted to Kent State University at Trumbull by May 1.
Gold, Silver & Bronze Scholarship
Amounts: Gold ($2,000 per year), Silver ($1,500 per year), and Bronze ($1,000 per year) Requirement: Gold (3.6 cumulative HS GPA), Silver (3.3 cumulative HS GPA), and Bronze (3.0 cumulative HS GPA) Automatically awarded upon admission to graduating high school seniors who are admitted to Kent State University at Trumbull by May 1.
