College Credit Plus Information Session

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is holding two College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Sessions, formerly known as Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO), on Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. and March 17 at 6 p.m. for students and their parents to learn details of the program.

The CCP program was recently established by the State of Ohio to replace PSEO and Dual Credit Options as one of the opportunities designed to allow college-ready students, grades 7-12, who qualify for college admission and receive state funding, the opportunity to earn high school and college credit. 

Students and parents should attend a session during which their school district representatives will be present. The Feb. 21 session begins at 10 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. School districts in attendance will be Buckeye Career Center, Conotton Valley, Quaker Digital Academy, Carrollton, New Philadelphia, Ridgewood, Claymont, Newcomerstown and Tuscarawas Valley.

The March 17 session begins at 6 p.m. in Founders Hall Auditorium. School districts in attendance will be Buckeye Career Center, Newcomerstown, Claymont, Strasburg, New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas Valley.

Students, whose school district is not listed or who are home-schooled, can attend either session.  Doors will open 30 minutes before the session. Students and their parents will have time to meet with their school representatives after the presentation.
