He also served as cross country team captain during his junior and senior years and track and field team captain his senior year. Off the field, Bradley has earned Scholar Athlete status in both cross country and track and field for all four years of high school and was a four-year academic letterman for cross country and three-year academic letterman for track and field. He was tapped for National Honor Society membership in his junior and senior years and also served on the DHS yearbook staff for the last two years.

“Without a doubt Garrett is a huge signing for our campus,” said Mark Albaugh, Cross Country and Track & Field Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. “His academic and athletic resumes are impressive and resemble a Who’s Who among the nation’s best high school student athletes. We are elated that Garrett chose us over some much bigger schools, but in the end it came down to who he trusted and how our academic and athletic goals aligned with his own goals. He is a young man of integrity and heart and there is little question that he will help raise the level of our team’s competitiveness, along with our ability reach our goal of raising a national championship banner in the near future.”
