Stand-Up Comedian Craig Ferguson to Perform

Stand-up comedian, actor and television host, Craig Ferguson will perform at the Kent State University at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 25. His show contains mature language and content meant for adults only. This show is co-sponsored by Mix 94.1 Radio.

Tickets for Craig Ferguson: The New Deal Tour range in price from $35 to $55 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office, online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac or by calling 330-308-6400. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free parking is available for all shows.

Ferguson entered the world of late night comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. On December 19, 2014, Ferguson concluded his 10-year run as the host of CBS’s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” which set all-time viewer records and earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination during its run. Ferguson can currently be seen on the nationally syndicated game show “Celebrity Name Game,” from executive producers Courteney Cox and David Arquette, for which he was recently awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host. On September 10, 2015, Ferguson premiered his fourth original stand-up comedy special on EPIX entitled, “Craig Ferguson: Just Being Honest.” The special was filmed at New York City’s Town Hall and focuses on topics spanning from “the deeply meaningless to the profoundly meaningful.”  Ferguson’s new show, The New Deal Tour, is a 49-show, comedy stand-up tour across North America.
