As a way of supporting the FISH! Philosophy, each month at University Communications and Marketing’s full staff meeting "Pete the Perch" (yep, a stuffed perch) is awarded to a deserving, hardworking, pleasant UCM staffer. At the end of each month, Pete is passed on to another deserving member of the UCM staff.
For October, Gina Prodan, senior electronic editorial specialist, reels in Pete for her enthusiasm and creativity.
One of her nominators said: “Gina is a superstar. She is always enthusiastic and willing to help out when I come to her with a project, and her creativity has benefited/is in the process of benefiting several of my clients. For her efforts with web everything and podcasting, as well as for her altogether pleasant manner...”
“She is extremely easy to work with and always pleasant and professional. She always takes time out of her day to answer questions or post last-minute rush jobs to the web,” said a second nominator.
Another nominator said Gina was “extremely generous and thoughtful” and “she is always upbeat, friendly and truly a pleasure to know and work with.”
Congratulations to Prodan on her big fish prize!
