Photography and Video Team
University Communications and Marketing provides professional consultation and resources designed to assist the communications and marketing efforts of programs and departments throughout Kent State University's eight-campus network. This includes help photography and video work by these UCM staffers:

Jeff Bentley
has been with Kent State for three years. A native of Kent, Ohio, he is a graduate of Indiana University. He has previously worked as an independent consultant in sports programming for ABC Sports Monday Night Football and numerous other national broadcast companies.
Bob Christy, photographerBob Christy, Coordinator, Photography
Bob Christy
graduated from Kent State in 1995 (B.S., photojournalism) after serving in the U.S. Air Force. He covered the 1996 New Hampshire Primary for UPI and then returned to Ohio to work for the New Philadelphia Times-Reporter before joining UCM in 1999. His work has appeared in newspapers around the country and northeast Ohio, and received honors from the Ohio News Photographer's Association and the University Photographers of America Association.

Jeff Glidden
, a 1987 graduate of Kent State’s photojournalism program, has worked at the university for more than 15 years. He has twice been named Photographer of the Year by the University Photographers Association of America and has received numerous awards from the Ohio News Photographers Association.
Gary Harwood, photographerGary Harwood, Photographer
Gary Harwood
has served as the university’s chief photographer since 1987, and has been employed at Kent State since 1983. Harwood has won more than 50 regional and national awards from the University Photographers Association of America, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Ohio News Photographers Association. His work has appeared in the Graphis Photo Annual and The Communication Arts Photo Annual.
