Welcome to Flash Communications

Imagine an innovative program in which students develop and implement projects that produce collateral, effective communications material for real-world clients.  That is what you'll find at Flash Communications.

While working side by side with public relations and marketing professionals, students complete ongoing agency projects such as:

  • planning and implementing internal and external communications on and off-campus
  • writing and coordinating production of newsletters
  • preparing and placing advertising for university events
  • researching, editing and writing stories for e-Inside, Kent State Magazine, and the KSU Web site
  • coordinating various electronic communications
It is due to successful campaigns and satisfied clientele that Flash Communications has been recognized nationally with one of two silver medals awarded in 2004 by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.  With only a year and a half under its belt, Flash Communications is paving the way for a new wave of integrated communication. You are invited to explore our Web site and review a portfolio of our work.  For more information about Flash Communications, contact Rob Jewell at rsjewell@kent.edu.
