The UCommute staff is here to help Off-Campus and Commuter students make connections to campus and serve as a resource if students need assistance with anything! Please don’t hesitate to stop by the office, call or email to find out information on anything you may wonder about Kent State University. Along with serving as a resource, UCommute provides different programs for students. Below is a list of the programs that we put on, if there are any programs you wish to see please send suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Welcome Home! Off-Campus and Commuter Student Welcome:
Welcome Weekend is the start of the college experience for all Kent State University students! Commuter/Off-Campus students will attend the Welcome Home session on the Friday morning of Welcome Weekend to see what is in store for the rest of the weekend and learn a little more about KSU! This is a great time to interact with other students and staff from UCommute!
Commuter Conversations occur once a month in both the fall and spring semester. This is a time for commuter students to come together and meet each other. Most events have snack provided, games and different activities for students to participate in. This is a chance to take a break from class and hang out with some great students!
Cupcakes for Commuters:
Be on the lookout for Cupcake for Commuters events throughout the year! Just a little pick me up for your day. Stop by the designated location and get a cupcake! You never know who you will meet!
