General Services

The breath-taking landscape and colorful gardens of Kent State University continues to be admired by many throughout the years. Whether you are a returning student, emeriti faculty member, or visitor to our campus, you can experience this inspirational imagery regardless of the season.

The Grounds crews at the main campus maintain five formal gardens, over 950 acres of land, and plant over 5,000 annuals each spring. We take immense pride in the beautification of our campus and realize the importance of a clean, healthy, and safe environment.

Our services include the following:
  • Athletic Field Maintenance and Sports Ground Cover
  • Excavation for Water and Steam Lines
  • Landscaping Services
  • Planting Partnership, KSU's Foundation Tree Sponsorship Program
