Welcome to Kent State University's United Way 2012-2013 Campaign

It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to Kent State’s Web headquarters for our United Way campaign. The history of our great university is the history of an academic community devoted to serving the public good.  Our participation in the annual campaign is a shining example of that tradition.

This year’s campaign has nothing to do with a dollar amount. Our goal is to see the university’s 15-percent participation rate triple (thus, the campaign has been dubbed “The Triple Crown of Giving”). It’s an ambitious goal, but one worth pursuing for the sake of the many children, families, senior citizens and other community members whose difficult lives we can make more secure through the wide array of “safety net” services United Way provides year-round.

So I ask you to join me in reaching out to our neighbors in need through United Way, even at the most modest of amounts. You may make your pledge by following the link in the left-hand column and instructions on E-giving. You can also follow the link on this page to print out a pledge form.
