Kent State University has experienced solid growth enrollment and increasing demands for new and technologically-advanced programs at a period when facilities and infrastructure are faced with block obsolescence. In addition, pedagogical changes are fueling the need to renovate instructional spaces. In light of these opportunities and challenges, Kent State has prepared the latest Capital Plan to address the greatest needs on each campus, aiming to achieve the highest possible degree of safety, accessibility, energy efficiency, and educational standards.
