Reconstruction of Hilltop Drive from July 21 until Aug. 22
Until approximately Friday, August 22, through traffic will be impacted due to road reconstruction work on Hilltop Drive. Access to parking at the Rockwell Hal lot and along Hilltop Drive will remain open. Please carefully observe detour signage around the construction zones.

Williams Drive and Part of Esplanade Closed until Aug. 15
Until Friday, August 15, Williams Drive is closed, as is the section of the Esplanade leading from Olson Hall to the MAC Center. The loading dock is closed and there is no parking between the MAC Center and Lake Hall. Please observe all detour signage when traveling around this construction zone. A section of the plaza utility tunnel, approximately 160 feet long between Lake/Olson Halls and the MAC Center, is being replaced.

White Hall West Ramp Entrance Closed
Structural repairs are being conducted on the pedestrian ramps leading to the two main entrances of White Hall. The ends of the ramps adjacent to the building are being reconstructed to correct deterioration and shifting of the structures that have occurred over time. Entrance paths and emergency egress are being maintained at the lower levels while ramp work is underway. To allow for proper curing of the concrete, no vehicle of any size is permitted on either ramp. The west side ramp is closed for construction; please enter at the east end of the building.

Oscar Ritchie Hall is Closed for Major Renovation
The Department of Pan-African Studies is in process of moving out of the Lincoln Building and back into the newly-renovated Oscar Ritchie Hall. The renovation project is nearing completion and the building will be open in time for Fall Semester 2008.

Your patience is greatly appreciated while these improvement projects are being completed. For additional information, please contact the Office of the University Architect by calling 330-672-3880.
