In order to maintain consistency with architectural, mechanical and electrical designs and systems across the eight campuses of Kent State University, the Office of the University Architect has published a comprehensive manual containing guidelines which Associate architects and engineers must follow. The content of these guidelines is not intended to conflict with or contradict any federal regulation or state code, but rather serves as the outline procedures which the Office of the State Architect and Kent State University Office of the University Architect use to manage construction projects.

An Adobe Acrobat .pdf file copy of the Kent State University Design & Engineering Guidelines is available for your reference.
