Kent State's Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Presentation

“Kent State University's Energy Conservation Program, Renewable Energy Projects and more!”

Kent State University has made great progress in the area of energy conservation, including three major energy conservation projects addressing almost fifty buildings and approximately 3 million square feet. A project to install solar photo-electric panels on the Field House to produce electricity is currently in the proposal phase. Bob Misbrener, project manager 2 in the Office of the University Architect, gave a presentation to the Sustainability Task Force about these energy-efficiency retrofits, the schedule for future upgrades, and the status of renewable energy on campus.
