Header

The www.kent.edu global header is a core element of each and every Kent State University website, which provides access to everyday utilities for the university community.

It is required to appear in a standard format, including specific items, on all pages and it must include a link to www.kent.edu. This header is required in custom designs as well. University Communications and Marketing’s web team will provide the global header via university wide templates or as a graphic file for external developers. This header may not be altered in any way. The Kent State logo must remain in four color.

  • Third party vendor sites should make an input box that sends the user to kent.edu/search/site/[TERM USER TYPED IN]

Utility Navigation

The following utility navigation must be present on top of all kent.edu pages:

  • Utility Links: FlashLine Login | Calendars | Phone Directory | Maps & Directions
  • Button Links: Apply | Visit | Give Now

Utility navigation must be present at the top of all kent.edu pages. It includes items such as FlashLine log in, calendars, phone directory, maps & directions, apply, visit and give now links.
