Heather Kirn Lanier
The Story You Tell Yourself
Heather Kirn Lanier is the author of the forthcoming memoir, Teaching in the Terrordome: Two Years in a West Baltimore High School. Her poems have appeared in dozens of journals, including The Southern Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, and Alaska Quarterly Review. Her nonfiction has been lauded by The Atlantic Monthly, noted in The Best American Essays Series, and published in Fourth Genre, The Sun, The Threepenny Review, and elsewhere. She is a visiting assistant professor of English at Miami University in Hamilton, Ohio.
Lisa Ampleman

Lisa Ampleman, born in St. Louis, received degrees from Beloit College (BA) and George Mason University (MFA). Her poems have appeared in Cave Wall; Court Green; Forklift, Ohio; Massachusetts Review; New Ohio Review; New South; and Notre Dame Review. A Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg poetry prize winner and 2011 Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship finalist, Ampleman is a PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati.
Elizabeth Breese

Elizabeth Breese teaches composition at the Columbus College of Art and Design. She received her MFA from the Ohio State University. Recent poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Barrow Street, FIELD, and Hayden's Ferry Review.
Jody Rambo

Jody Rambo holds an MFA from Colorado State University. Her poems have appeared in Barrow Street, Gulf Coast, Notre Dame Review, Quarterly West, Verse, Virginia Quarterly, and other publications. She is the recipient of two Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council, as well as the Jerome Foundation Travel and Study Grant. She teaches creative writing at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
Hugh Martin
So, How Was the War?
Hugh Martin is from Macedonia, Ohio, and served in Iraq in 2004 with the Army National Guard. He graduated from Muskingum University in 2009 and is a first-year MFA candidate in poetry at Arizona State University.
Maggie Smith
The List of Dangers
Maggie Smith holds an MFA from the Ohio State University. She is the author of two prizewinning collections of poems, Lamp of the Body and Nesting Dolls, and the recipient of two Academy of American Poets Prizes and two fellowships from the Ohio Arts Council. Smith’s poems have appeared in The Paris Review, The Gettysburg Review, Indiana Review, Gulf Coast, The Iowa Review, and many other journals.
Liz Tilton

Liz Tilton was awarded her PhD in English literature from the University of Cincinnati, where she works in the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching & Learning. Her poems have been published in Southern Review, New Orleans Review, Southern Humanities Review, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and other journals.

Mindi Kirchner was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and holds degrees from Penn State University and the NEOMFA program. She enjoys teaching at Youngstown State University and reading poems voraciously.
