... & a few words from a few other WMST students, too ....
Thanks for a great semester. You are a wonderful professor, and I enjoyed your class.
The wide variety of new topics discussed made me
open my mind and look at things from a different perspective.
I learned a lot about the female body and about OUR culture, how it affects us.
And I enjoyed the opinions from you and other classmates.
-D. McFadden, SP Topics: Female Body/Western Culture
I have throughly enjoyed all the Hepburn films we viewed over these weeks,
enjoyed getting to know her as an actress.
The movies and discussions have changed forever how I will view movies.
Your thoughts and comments have really been provocative,
fun, eye-opening. and I hope my journals and discussions have given you
some ideas and thoughts as well. I wish I'd been able to
take more classes of yours, had I known about them earlier in my college career.
However, I am graduating so I will not get the pleasure
but I truly, truly enjoyed this class.
Thank you to Women's Studies and thank you to you - so much.
-J. Vrabel, SP Topics: Katharine Hepburn
Wow. As I have taken the time to reflect on this project today, I have realized many things.
I am so grateful I was given this opportunity.
I wish I could express into words what I have learned from this project, but it is just not possible.
Being in the action firsthand ... talking to people, doing the real "ground-work was what made me fall in love with this project.
I am proud of this, and I stand by it, as many issues about gender identities and
true politics came full circle.
... this is one of the first projects I have ever done
where I was actually excited to work on it.
