The Writing Commons Training course, Introduction to Tutorial Practice: A Service-Learning Practicum, was featured in the university’s  “Showcase of Excellence in Action” on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Moulton Hall 1st floor atrium.  The showcase was designed to display model experiential learning programs, courses, and opportunities; exemplify how faculty efforts in experiential education are fulfilling the strategic goals of Kent State University; and provide insight on how experiential learning may serve as a threshold to student learning.  The Writing Commons is proud to be a part of this important campus-wide initiative.
