In an effort to establish and move forward a community of collaboration and professional development, the Writing Commons will host a free conflict management training session led by the Kent State University Police Department.  The training, based on a nationally recognized verbal conflict resolution model will provide tutors with tools useful to peacfully diffuse mild to difficult conflict situations.  Guests from around the campus are encouraged to contact the Writing Commons at writing@kent.edu to inquire about attending the event.
