After two semesters of gracing the Writing Commons and its walls, the "writing wall" was removed and stored away in the KSU time capsule.  The wall, originally created for the National Day of Writing celebration, drew in writing, art work, and other forms of self-expression from many students who chose to use the wall as a vehicle to express, inform, and even converse with other students.  Jeanne Smith, the Writing Commons Director, attended the burying ceremony for the time capsule and was a key proponent for the creation and archiving of the student and the student voices recoded on the wall.  Those who will unearth the wall in 2060 will certainly enjoy reviewing the 12' x 12' wall as a piece of KSU history.
