The Kent State University Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification represents the highest level of technical and organizational proficiency. Certified Master Black Belts must be able to assist Black and Green Belts in applying the right statistical methods as well as the most appropriate Lean tools correctly in any situation in order to successfully link projects to corporate goals and initiatives.
Master Black Belts fill the role of facilitator, teacher, coach, change agent and motivator. They are masters at consensus building and conflict resolution, experts at strategic project identification, SPC, DOE and problem solving. Master Black Belts are the leaders and future leaders of companies, the best of the best. Prerequisite: Students must have completed the Kent State University Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program to register. Students who have received their Black Belt from another institution are admitted by consent of facilitator.
