Kelsen LaBerge, Ph.D., a professor in Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE), has been named one of three recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Teaching Award, the highest honor for non-tenure track and part-time faculty at the university.

Jim "SeaBass" Sebastian, a distinguished alumnus of Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering, has been awarded the 2024 Kent State Advocacy Award for his exceptional contributions to his alma mater and its students.
