Rachel Smith, Assistant Professor in Jewelry/Metals/Enameling is a finalist in the Friedrich Becker Prize for 2017 with her piece Chicory and Stiff Gentian Ruff. Smith's work will travel to Germany where one prize will be awarded from the selected works. The prize winner and selected works will be exhibited through the end of March, 2017, in the Stadtmuseum and then in the German Goldsmiths’ House in Hanau until the beginning of May, 2017.
