The year-long advanced leadership workshop includes four in-person sessions and online course work. 

In-person session dates include:

  • Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 9am to 3pm
  • Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 9am to 3pm
  • Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 9am to 3pm
  • Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 9am to 3pm

Workshop Developer: Rosemary Gornik, Ph.D.

Kent State University Rosemary GornikDr. Gornik has expertise in developing and implementing new strategies to enhance education programs, with skills in designing and implementing school reform initiatives, anticipating evolution, and implementing change. She has success in motivating, empowering, and leading others, and the ability to establish and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with schools and community representatives..

Kent State University Mandy CenkerDr. Cenker has experience working in special education, curriculum development assessment and teacher/administrator professional development. As a former intervention specialist, her interests include the transitioning of students with disabilities to higher education, in addition to, assessment in higher education, P-20 curriculum development and professional development implementation.
