2nd Annual DiversiFEST
As part of Kent State University’s annual homecoming celebration, the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host its 2nd Annual DiversiFEST! DiversiFEST is a festival held to celebrate Kent State University's culture and diversity! Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the services and events the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion has to offer throughout the year. This is a family-friendly, free event open to the public. All are welcome!
This celebration of diversity and inclusively will be held from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at the Williamson House located at 1200 S. Main Street. Come bring your family and a chair to enjoy the homecoming parade, music, food and games!
What is offered if I attend?
- Food will be provided for all who attend, however, a reservation is required. We simply ask that you complete the form below to reserve your spot! The deadline to register online is October 6th.
- You'll have the opportunity to play many games including corn hole, basketball, and many other games. Prizes will be awarded to game winners!
- We also offer a prime location to view the homecoming parade. You are more than welcome to bring your own chair or blanket and watch the parade on lawn of the Williamson House!
We are looking for energetic volunteers to assist with registration, games, etc. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer, please use the following form to register. The deadline to register as a volunteer is Oct 6th.
- Parking for DiversiFEST will be located at the Kent Center for Performing Arts (1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, Ohio)or Terrace Hall Annex (125 Terrace Drive, Kent, Ohio). However, limited parking will be made available at the Williamson House (1200 S. Main Street, Kent, Ohio) for individuals in need of handicapped parking.
