International Festival

11AM-5PM, September 9, 2017 DOWNTOWN Kent

The Kent International Festival seeks to education members of Kent State University and Kent Community about the world around us though religion, culture, and tradition. All Kent State University students and Kent City Community members are invited to participate in this day-long of international activity.

The International Festival will feature food, culture, and traditions from approximately 11 countries around the world following the Run the World 5K at the Kent Campus.  A variety of businesses in downtown Kent will create displays, feature foods and beverage, and host entertainment at Dan Smith Park from 11am-5pm.

To make this event inclusive of everyone, community or non-race participants can purchase a Kent International Festival passport for $5. At each participating business during the festival, passport holders are able to collect stamps; once they  have received 5 stamps, they will be given a free glass. Race participants passports will be included in their race packets.

Passports and souvenir glasses will be available for pick up at the “CUSTOMS” booth located at Dan Smith Park (between Bar 145 & Bricco).

Be sure to come celebrate a day of adventure, culture, and tradition with your Kent State and Kent Community Family.
