How to Submit Application Materials
Review application requirements and prepare documents for your intended program prior to starting your application. You are welcome to upload all your application requirements when you submit your application but it is not necessary to submit everything at that time. Once you submit your application you will retain access to your application portal where you can check the status of your application and upload new or edit previously submitted documents.
Now Accepting Applications for
Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2021
Application documents for your intended program may include, but are not limited to:
Copies of official transcripts (front and back) are required at the time of application from all universities where 8 or more credit hours were earned. Admitted students are required to submit official transcripts after they have accepted an offer of admission. View examples of acceptable transcripts.
- GRE/GMAT scores
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, GRE testing has temporarily been waived from the application requirements for a number of our graduate programs, both master's and doctoral. Programs that are offering temporary GRE waivers can be found here. View a complete list of programs and application requirements here. If your program of interest requires test scores, please know that scores will only be accepted when sent directly from the test provider to the Division of Graduate Studies as an official test report. Scores reported by applicants will not be accepted. Kent State University's GRE code is 1367 and GMAT code is N4Q.
- Letters of Recommendation
Using the online recommendation system expedites the application completion process, but we can also accept paper forms. As a last resort, you can ask your recommendation writer to complete a paper form [pdf] and return to email@example.com. If you’re applying to a second program, you don’t need to resubmit your letters of recommendation. We are able to retrieve those for you and add them to your application.
