- Confirm your place in the class by paying the $150 enrollment fee. Details about the enrollment fee are below.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning OCT. 1 to apply for financial aid and don't forget to complete your scholarship search. Visit the financial aid website for more information.
- Apply for on-campus housing beginning FEB. 1 or submit the exemption form.
- Register for new student orientation, Destination Kent State, beginning FEB 1.

- Submit your final high school transcript, Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate scores and college transcripts for any college courses completed during high school.

- Review your student’s admission letter and notify the Admissions Office of any changes to your address, phone number or student’s intended major by calling 800-988-5368.
- Have your student log in to FlashLine and follow the instructions for a new user. Once logged in, you can both review the student checklist.
- Set up your parent/guardian KSUview account now if you would like to view your student’s financial aid, personal information, registration and student account information. Details about KSUview are below.
- Pay the $150 enrollment fee to reserve your student’s place in the incoming class. Details about the enrollment fee are below.

- Apply for financial aid now and complete a scholarship search.

- Have your student schedule a Destination Kent State (DKS) new student orientation date. Registration begins FEB. 1 and parents, family and guests are invited to attend.
- Make sure your student completes placement assessments online at least three days before attending DKS. These will be available in FlashLine.
- Submit your student’s final high school transcript, AP/IB scores and college transcripts for any college courses completed during high school to the Admissions Office.
- Review class scheduling timelines and tuition payment options with your student on the One Stop website.

- Review Residence Hall Move-in details and have your student attend KSU Kickoff activities!

- Attend Transfer Kent State (TKS). TKS is a required orientation where you will meet with an academic advisor and register for your fall classes. Sign up on the Transfer Kent State website.
- Apply for financial aid and complete your scholarship search. Visit the financial aid website for more information.
- Submit Your Final Transcripts. If you had in-progress coursework or have completed additional classes since your initial transcript was submitted, forward your final transcripts to the Admissions Office.
- Confirm your attendance by paying the $95 Transfer Enrollment Fee online through FlashLine.
