Daily Campus Tours
At Kent State University, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our guests. Due to Portage County’s COVID-19 Risk Level having been raised to a Level 3 Red status, all on-campus tours are canceled until further notice. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to host you and your family on our beautiful campus at this time, we do encourage you to utilize our Virtual Campus Tour and sign up for our virtual opportunities on our Virtual KSU webpage.
Whether you are an admitted student or someone who is just starting your college search, we are excited to share with you and your family what makes us undeniably Kent State -- from our vast and unique academic programs to our world-class faculty to our truly beautiful campus, you'll soon see that you belong here!
Our tour begins with a 30-minute admissions presentation followed by a 90-minute student-led walking tour of campus. The tour will include campus highlights such as the Kent Student Center, classrooms, model residence hall rooms and the student recreation and wellness center.
Please note, our campus tour will be a modified experience with precautions taken in the midst of COVID-19 and each reservation has a limit of two guests. We, unfortunately, at this time cannot accommodate more than three people in a tour reservation.

Keeping You Safe During Your Campus Tour
When on a campus tour, you and your guest will be asked to adhere to the Flashes Safe Seven principles while on campus. These principles ensure an outstanding and safe experience for everyone.
Most importantly, we ask you to follow these operating principles to keep you, your guest and our campus community safe by monitoring your health before your visit, wearing a facial covering while on campus, and staying at least 6 feet apart from others on the tour.
- Monitoring Your Health: All members of the university community must self-monitor daily for symptoms and we are asking our guests to do the same. If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, we ask you to cancel or reschedule your campus tour and seek a medical evaluation by calling your primary care physician.
- Always Wear a Facial Covering: Facial coverings are required. Facial coverings will be made available for those who do not have their own. Wearing facial coverings is a critical component and we ask that all who can safely wear facial coverings do so.
- Stay at Least 6 Feet Apart: Physical distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced while on campus. You and your guest will be required to maintain at least 6 feet of separation from others on your campus tour.
