Here you will find information on the next steps in the admission process, financial aid and scholarships, housing, Destination Kent State (DKS) New Student Orientation, dining and the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions from parents of our incoming students.

Your student can apply for on-campus housing beginning FEB. 1 through the residence services website. Make sure to review our outstanding on-campus housing options and to explore our Living Learning Communities tab for information on Kent State’s many academic partnerships and initiatives.
Your student can register for Destination Kent State (DKS) New Student Orientation beginning FEB. 1. Parents, family and guests are invited to attend.
Each college will communicate with your student if a specific computer is recommended or needed for their classes. Please reach out to your student’s college for more information.
The Fall 2021 semester begins Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021.
