Kent State University accepts cash, money orders, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card for payment on the student account (a convenience fee is assessed to all credit card payments).
- Online: Online payment is the preferred method of payment as it is the fastest and most secure. Web payments from a checking or savings account, or by credit card can be made at https://payonline.kent.edu.
- Mail: Check payments should be made payable to Kent State University and mailed to Kent State University, Bursar’s Office, PO Box 5190, Kent, OH 44242-0001.
- In Person: Payments can be made using the payment drop box located outside the Bursar’s Office (131 Schwartz Center) or at any of the Kent State University Regional Campuses. For Kent Campus, please note that the One Stop for Student Services is unable to accept payment on the first floor of the University Library.
- Flywire: International students can make a payment from their home country at kent.flywire.com.
Monthly Payment Options
Education expenses can be easier to manage when spread over predictable monthly payments. Our monthly payment plan, administered by Flywire, is an alternative to one large payment and may help limit loan borrowing.
The plan is available during fall and spring semesters only. The enrollment fee is $55 per semester.
For more information and to enroll in the plan, please select this link or log into https://www.kent.edu/bursar/monthly-payment-plan-options.
529 College Savings Plans
Payments from 529 plans should be received by the One Stop by the payment due date. If your 529 plan payment will not be received by the due date, you may still deduct the expected payment amount if you provide the One Stop with written confirmation from the 529 plan provider.
