The Transnational Studies Reading and Working Group in the College of Arts & Sciences invites you to its first lecture of the fall semester, which will take place on September 28, 2012, between 12 noon and 1 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Department of Pan-African Studies (Room 127 C, Oscar Ritchie Hall), at the Kent campus. This lecture, which will be given by Professor Richard Feinberg, of the Department of Anthropology of Kent State University, is entitled “Encroachment of the World Market in Remote Pacific Communities?” This presentation is jointly sponsored by the Department of Pan-African Studies’ Institute for African American Affairs and the Department of English’s Transnational Studies Reading and Working Group (TSRWG).
