CRITT Translation in Transition Conference announced for 15th - 17th October 2020

The conference organized by the Center for Research and Innovation in Translation and Translation Technology (CRITT@Kent)  in collaboration with the Institute for Applied Linguistics will focus on human and machine intelligence. It addresses the following questions: what are the fundamental mechanisms that underlie human translation performance? How can and do humans cope with developing machine intelligence and how can machines adapt to the human condition? What is the effect of technology on the translation process, performance, job satisfaction, the product and society?
