MAJ Adrien G. Humphreys joined the United States Army in September of 1998 as an Automated Logistics Specialist (92A).  She completed Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Lee, Virginia.  MAJ Humphreys commissioned through Officer Candidate School (OCS) in 2003 as a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Officer.  
During her enlistment, MAJ Humphreys’ assignments included: Automated Logistics Specialist, HHC, 82nd Heavy Combat Engineer Battalion, Bamberg, GE (1999-2002) and Training & Schools NCO, 7th Corps Support Group, Bamberg, GE (2002-2003).  
As a Commissioned Officer, MAJ Humphreys’ assignments include: Detachment Commander, 332nd Biological Integrated Detection Systems (BIDS) Multi-Component Detachment, Camp Carrol (2004-2005); Company Executive Officer, 4th Chemical Company, Camp Hovey, RoK (2005-2006); Battalion Adjutant, Camp Hovey, 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Heavy Combat Brigade Team, Camp Hovey, RoK (2006-2007); Company Commander, Valdosta Recruiting Company, Jacksonville Recruiting Battalion, Jacksonville, FL (2008-2011); Afghanistan-Pakistan (AF-PAK) Hands Advisor, United States Central Command, MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL (2011-2014); Executive Officer; 84th Chemical Training Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, MO (2015-2017); and Chief of CBRN Operations for Alaskan NORAD Regions (ANR), Joint  Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK (2007-2019).

MAJ Humphreys has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Virgin Islands; Masters of Arts in Public Administration from University of Akron; Masters of Science in Environment Management from Webster University; and a Ph.D. in Urban and regional Planning from University of Akron.
