Pre-Game Arts Preview of the Center for the Visual Arts

Interested in seeing what the Center for the Visual Arts looks like? Join us for the Pre-Game Arts Preview over homecoming weekend!

Guided tours of the facilities will feature ongoing demonstrations by faculty, students and returning alumni. See the new studio spaces for ceramics, glass, jewelry/enamel/metals, printmaking and sculpture. Tours begin at the main entrance on Terrace Drive.

Architect Jerry Payto (’64) of Payto Architects will be on hand to answer questions and share insight into the building’s innovative design.

Artwork by our outstanding faculty will be on display and available for purchase, with all proceeds to benefit the building fund. (An auction of the remaining works will be held Oct. 10.)

Refreshments will be available for your enjoyment.

A complimentary shuttle service from the Alumni Center parking lot will be provided to and from the Center for the Visual Arts. This service will begin immediately following the parade at 11:45 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Parking will be available in the Business Administration Building lot, off Terrace Drive.

*PLEASE NOTE the shuttle service will only loop from the Alumni Center to the Center for the Visual Arts. The CVA is a vast space and tours are estimated to take 45 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes!
