Join us for the MFA Thesis Exhibits closing reception on April 7, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The CVA Gallery will feature two MFA Thesis Exhibits from April 3-7 by Ceramics graduate students, Taylor Dennis Pasquale and Nicolin B. Haines.  Also on view in the adjacent Crawford Gallery, thesis exhibit by MFA Candidate in Textiles, Trey Gehring. The Payto Gallery will have MA Candidate, Nick Pfeil's sculpture work.

Join us for the reception and award ceremony for the Student Annual on Thursday, March 9 from 5 - 7 p.m. The Student Annual is a juried show that gives undergraduate and graduate students a chance to showcase their work at the CVA Gallery.  The show will be juried by Theresa Bembnister, Associate Curator at the Akron Art Museum. Bembnister will award students who submitted the top artworks with over $500 in prizes. The show will be on view from March 9 - 23, 2017.  Gallery Hours: Tues. - Fri. 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Gartelmann is a visiting artist in Sculpture and often collaborates with the School of Art's sculpture and expanded media professor, Jonas Sebura.

There will be a reception on March 16 from 5–7 p.m. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.
