Announcement - Kent Blossom Art Intensives Cancelled

In accordance with the order of Amy Acton, M.D., Director of Ohio Department of Health, to stay at home to slow the spread of COVID-19, and in the interest of the health and safety of the community, Kent State University regretfully announces cancellation of Kent Blossom Art Intensives. This decision did not come lightly. We are disappointed to be putting our plans on hold in 2020, but remain optimistic about the future.

Since 1968, Kent Blossom Art Intensives have brought artists from all over the country to Kent State, and in 2021, we plan to continue this tradition. Our students and individual artists who participate each year are undoubtedly disappointed in this announcement but it is their safety we have in mind. We look forward to experiencing the camaraderie and collaboration KBAI brings to everyone who participates again next May.

Thank you for your understanding and support of the program. We plan to announce the 2021 visiting artists by the end of the year so please check our website for updates.

We look forward to welcoming our visiting artists and all KBAI participants next year!
