ARTshop Opens Online Store
The School of Art’s ARTshop has opened an online store for purchase of student-made artwork, creating a convenient way for the public to support students. The KSU ARTshop opened in 2017 at the Center for the Visual Arts as a student-run retail shop where students can sell their work while refining their entrepreneurial skills. Patrons can browse and purchase student-made works online while the physical location is temporarily closed due to the university building closures during the pandemic.
The goal of the ARTshop is to act as a laboratory for introducing ideas about arts entrepreneurship to students. All art majors are encouraged to sell their work in the ARTshop. Gift items such as jewelry, scarves, mugs, glasses, vases, home decor, and limited-edition prints are available year-round. Students keep 70% of the purchase price. Shop now at ksuartshop.com.
