Nine Kent State alumni, students and faculty have been selected for Ohio Designer Craftsmen’s “Best of 2020” exhibition at the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus. Now in its 37th year, this juried exhibition features established and emerging artists in all craft media. It showcases functional, sculptural or decorative approaches to contemporary works in clay, fiber, wood, glass, enamel, leather, metal, jewelry or other media. Due to COVID-19, the in-person exhibition of “Best of 2020” has been postponed, and will be installed in the spring of 2021. An online exhibition of the artwork is now on view on the Ohio Craft Museum website.

Current faculty member and head of jewelry/metals/enameling, Andrew Kuebeck, has two of his brooches on display in the online exhibition. Selected students and alumni include: Megan Dunn, Benjamin Johnson, Molly Johnson, Paige Koenig, Kristina Malcom, Diana Pemberton, Meagan Smith and Susan Skoczen Southard
